About That Travel Knitting....

I ended up deciding on the red lace sock. And then I never even touched it. I ended up going out with some new friends both nights I was there. Oh well....

Oh well, socks usually are good travel knitting though!

Socks are easy to travel with and that is what I have been doing of late in the car (I don't fly...) But even if you didn't take my animals idea, I am glad you had fun...

Hah. I have trips/days like that.

Oh, about your question (I can't email back to you without an email address), you spread out the comb by placing new undrawn bars between drawn ones, making more room for the queen to lay eggs. If you don't, the bees think their hive is full and get ready to swarm away.

This way, the "back" combs become honey storage areas (more for me!) and the queen feels as though she has an ever-expanding brood nest.

Now, I'm going to have to watch this blog more carefully to see how your drum carder works out. Not that I'm becoming obsessed or anything. . .
